Current Website Status

This policy describes the Shanmaya website as it operates today. Secure payment, live order processing, and newsletter subscriptions are not yet connected.

The preview checkout does not submit an order or collect payment-card information. This policy will be updated before those services are activated.

Information You Send to Us

The Contact page uses a direct email link rather than a website contact form. When you email Shanmaya, we may receive:

• Your email address and name, when included
• The contents of your message
• Product names, item numbers, product-page links, or order details you choose to provide
• Photographs or documentation you voluntarily send for support

Please do not send payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, medical information, or other highly sensitive information by email.

Bag & Checkout Data Stored in Your Browser

To support the Bag and preview Checkout experience, the website uses browser local storage. This information remains on your device and is not currently submitted to Shanmaya through the website.

• Bag contents and product identifiers
• Checkout contact details and delivery address entered in the preview
• Selected delivery method
• Checkout draft information used to restore fields on the same browser

You can remove this information by clearing the Bag, clearing this site’s browser data, or using your browser settings. On a shared device, another person using the same browser profile may be able to see locally saved information.

Newsletter Status

The newsletter subscription field is not connected to an email-marketing provider. An email address entered there is not currently submitted to or stored by Shanmaya.

If newsletter subscriptions are activated later, the signup experience and this policy will be updated before email addresses are collected for marketing.

How We Use Information

When you voluntarily communicate with Shanmaya, we may use the information to:

• Provide product, authenticity, care, or delivery information

Shanmaya does not currently configure advertising cookies or a separate behavioral-analytics service. The website uses browser local storage for Bag and preview Checkout functionality.

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, traffic management, and service delivery. Browser controls can be used to clear local storage and manage cookies, although restricting necessary technologies may affect website operation.

Service Providers & Disclosure

Information may be handled by service providers only as reasonably necessary for the services they perform, including:

• Shipping, payment, and order-service providers only after those services are activated and needed

Retention & Security

Browser-local Bag and Checkout information remains until it is cleared through the website or browser. Direct email correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain relevant business records, resolve concerns, and meet legal obligations.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and our current operations. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You may contact Shanmaya to:

• Ask whether Shanmaya holds personal information about you
• Request correction or deletion where appropriate
• Request a copy where applicable
• Withdraw from optional marketing communications after a subscription service is activated
